At the 21st annual Gaff N Go Lineman’s Rodeo, Sentinel Robotic Solutions hosted its second annual Lineman Drone Competition in partnership with VMD Association of Electric Cooperatives (VMDAEC). To ensure high standards of evaluation and industry credibility, they enlisted Michael Thompson, FAA Safety Team Lead Representative and CEO of Connecting Skies, LLC, and Keith Paquin, FAA Safety Team Rep and UAS Operations Manager at VDOT, as expert judges.

Together, Michael and Keith brought a combined depth in FAA compliance, flight safety protocol, and UAS inspection standards. Their real-time evaluations and guidance helped bridge the gap between demonstration and implementation, giving attendees practical insights into safety-first drone ops.
